Hi, welcome to my blog. Photography is a moment in the infinity of being. I love capture this moment..

Aubélia from Kortrijk, Belgium

The composition is beautiful. Have a nice day.

22 Aug 2013 6:24am

@Aubélia: Thank you very much Aubélia! Nice evening..

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

Beautifully tones and tells a silent story somehow. I would have sliced off half the foreground to try for the old Rule of Thirds, myself.

22 Aug 2013 6:24am

@Ronnie 2¢: Many thanks! Horizon is not quite the right place ... but the scene intrigued me, so I used it..

Calusarus from Drome des collines, France

I like the composition, the PoV, and the contrast. A nice shot

@Calusarus: Thank you a lot !

The birds .... the frame.... the colours desaturation .... : A mysterious landscape !!:-))

Both ominous and quiet. Superbly toned and caught...and POVed, and composed, too.

According to Ronnie's proposal : this is precisely this important foreground which makes the power here :-)

22 Aug 2013 11:40am

Superbe avec les oiseaux, excellent angle de prise de vue, superbe tonalité. Bonne soirée.

22 Aug 2013 3:38pm

@Tede: Merci beaucoup! Bonne soirée.

Basile Pesso from Spain

@Frankiess : no, "according to" means "referring to", not "I agree with". So, what I say is that your version is perfect, and I explain why.

22 Aug 2013 5:41pm

@Basile Pesso: well .. my knowledge of English is weak, and sometimes the meaning will escape me .. And I think that cutting the foreground the photo lost power ..

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

So just about moving the horizon above or below ... at the time of photography.
If you have already made and will edit ... remove a piece of heaven or a piece of land ... as you like. Everything depends on the part of the composition you want to highlight its beauty!
My English is also regularly!
A picture that makes me think of the old photographs. I like! Best regards, Adela

@Adela Fonts: Thank you for your extensive comment Adela! I am glad your inspiring comments .. Greetings, Frankiess

DarkElf from Perth, Australia

when i saw this photo i knew it would stir a bit of a debate on whether there is too much foreground or not... at first i though that you should crop it but after looking at this scene for a while, i decided that i like it the way it is... i agree with the comments that the field gives this scene a great lead in with a touch of mystery and i like the transition of tones from darkness to the bright sky! the birds are another great element that i like here! well done!

23 Aug 2013 2:04am

@DarkElf: Thank you very much for your comment Dark. Yes, I came to the conclusion that a cut would not be good ..
